This policy is designed to assist you in understanding how I collect, use and safeguard the personal information you provide to me during the course of provision of my services and to assist you in making informed decisions when using my website and contacting me.


Personal data may be collected from you if you visit my website or enquire about my services either in person or by phone and/or email or via social media.

When I refer to personal data in this policy I mean information that can or has the potential to identify you as an individual. I use such personal information for the purposes of administering my business and providing my services to you, processing your payment and monitoring the use of the services and for other lawful purposes.

– Information from the client consultation form or any other form used to collect information from you when you enquire or become a client of mine including contact details

– Notes from calls or conversations we may have either prior to or during the course of my services.
– Notes and reports about your health that you or a third party have provided including your completed PAR-Q

I use a third party service, to host and publish my website which is run by Automattic Inc. I use a standard WordPress service to collect anonymous information about users’ activity on the site and to monitor and report on the effectiveness of the site and to help me improve it. I use a Facebook Page (Helen Mulhall Personal Trainer) to manage my social media interactions. Sometimes I might post photographs of groups or individuals but never without your permission.

If you send me a private message or direct message via social media the message will be stored on my Facebook Messages page. It will not be shared with others.

Personal data collected from you will be held by me confidentially and securely and will, unless you agree otherwise, only be used for the purpose for which it was collected and to allow me to provide my services and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable Data Protection Laws. Sensitive personal data relating to your health will only be disclosed to those involved in your treatment or care and with your express permission. However, in an emergency and if you are incapacitated I may also process your personal data (including sensitive personal data) or make personal data available to third parties on the basis of protecting your ‘vital interest’ (ie your life or health).

Your personal data will be used to allow me to carry out my obligations relating to the provision of services as required by you and related matters such as billing or the provision of information, other services or products that you request from me.

At your request I may send or transfer personal information to you via email or Facebook Messenger or you may choose to transfer information to myself via email or Messenger. Neither email or Messenger is a secure method of information transmission and if you choose to send or receive such information via email or Messenger you do so at your own risk. This includes any messages or enquiries sent by email via my website.

All data will be held for as long as is necessary having regard to the purpose for which it was collected and in accordance with all applicable UK laws.
